that means 10.66 ms and then there are core audio safety buffers, ad/da latency and also added driver latency depending on interface...
You need the full RTL figure when talking about monitoring incoming tracks.. the output is what's needed for VI tracks but we have gone well beyond those now in our discussion.
Look at this USB interface, 22 milliseconds at 256.
Now, that was just the google hit I got from the search I did, and tascam are not known for their drivers, but for a USB interface it's not far off.. they are all loaded with safety buffers in their drivers..
