Arguably the uninstaller should have two modes 1) Uninstall everything (registry entries, all directories, drivers etc) 2) Uninstall but leave registry & custom app sets as it does now.

You are right, but the problem is my registry is now screwed and I need to go back to a restore point or re-install windows to get RID of this.
