Default Re: Drum samples??

exactly the same thing.
the only difference is that I use the DKFH drum sample library.....you would use the library of your choice.

I really suggest you check out Reason.
especially since I saw your other post about upgrading to OSX. PTLE 6.1 and Reason (and a good drum sample library) are all you need. You might want to get a cheap midi keyboard with velocity sensitive keys and a mod wheel (about $90.00) The drum machine if it's Midi can work as well but you won't have velocity control.

I used Battery in OS9. it's a good program but the OSX RTAS version won't be out until September.

with Reason you get WAY more goodies.

In OSX with PTLE 6.1 having Rewire support, I can't think of a better solution that Reason. It runs as a standalone so you can take it and make grooves up at the cottage on your laptop. (no Protools hardware required!)
then come home and pipe it directly into Protools as audio.

I'm still waiting for my copy!!

Good Luck,
Jeff
