Re: What are you listening to? (June 2002)
Rudess-Morgenstein Project (RPM) - progressive rock. I listen to that every weekend to get juiced up to work on my own stuff, as well as the Kurzweil demos Jordan Rudess did. He's killer.
progrock.com internet radio - progressive rock. A fantastic selection of old and new prog with stuff by The Flower Kings, Spock's Beard, Gentle Giant, and a smattering of things I gave to them.
Panzer Dragoon soundtrack - electronic orchestral rock. This is a masterpiece. Did I say masterpiece? A MASTERPIECE. Composer (and possibly performer) Yo****aka Azuma is a genious, and tho he seems to like kick drum a bit too much, this is easily one of the best electronic rock albums I've heard in eight years. There are a couple of pieces which I believe are done by the Tokyo Philharmonic, very sweeeet.
But mostly I'm listening to me for now.
