That could be the problem (or part of it) which would be related to what I wrote earlier. You get things touching each other when they shouldn't (coupling) and you can get all manner of vibrations and sound happening that shouldn't.


It's for things like this I made up a bunch of decoupling rack mounts for all my rack gear. Isolates the gear from the rack and each other. Not perfect but a hell of a lot quieter.
