How long is the warranty on the speakers? I would leave the speakers on for an extended period of time and listen to see if the sound repeats itself after the initial time. If you can live with the sound at startup (assuming it doesn't repeat), I would continue to use them. Perhaps Adam Audio will figure out the issue over time. I assume these are not cheap, so Adam Audio should be motivated to resolve the issue.
