Yes, having the edits before the hits is better. . The trick is, when you use BDetective, to set the trigger pad time to 10 or 20 ms. . this then cuts the beats that far in front of each beat & places a sync point on the beat. .
You could either redo all you slicing etc with that in mind, or try redoing your fades. . Delete all your cross fades, then select all the regions(clips) again, select "fill & crossfade" and enter your 100ms figure there. .
Try that first mate.
