Iīd like to UPS everything... but yes, interfaces at least. Anything a bit more expensive or important. External drives of course. And you may want your video monitor UPS:ed too so you have time to log off...
I live in the woods and the power is very bad, half a second cuts, low voltage etc etc. UPS gives a longer life to everything, especially digital.
