Default What\'s the easiest way?

I have a session for a band that I'm recording. We are doing it in two big chunks, the first of which is pretty much done (for now). Is there a good way to split up a 16gb file for backup purposes. I suppose I could pull out certain audio files and put them on seperate DVD's (Vox on 1, Drums on 2, Gtrs on 3, etc). I have a DVD burner, but that's only 4.7gb. I was just going to copy it onto another hard drive. Just curious if there are other methods I'm not considering. Thanks
