A Mac Mini i7 quad with dual 7200 rpm drives(or use an external FW drive for recording) and 16GB of RAM should be a little powerhouse! Those things can generate a lot of heat, so I would sit it on a laptop cooler. As long as both computers have the same version(s) of Pro Tools, just keep the iLok with you(unless you can afford a second iLok and license). You can install Pro Tools on as many computers as you like. It requires the iLok to open and run
