Ctrl+Alt+G is working fine here in PT 2020.12.
Sometimes the top level menu tends to get focus when pressing the Alt key. When you press Alt, see if you notice that some of the letters on the top menu are underlined. This is typically how Windows does shortcut keys and again, it may be interfering with PT.
If that's the case, try this: Press Alt by itself to underline the items in the top menu. Now try your Ctrl+Alt+G combination and see if it works.
