solved.

i copied the HUI.bundle File from PT 12.8
ProTools.app
show content

frameworks
controllers
HUI.bundle
put it into PT 2019.12
which caused PT to crash at start-up
put back the original HUI.bundle
Re-started PT
setup US2400 in the peripherals again
somehow it works now
