Sadly, you won't buy "good or very good" for $150. If that's really all you can swing, get a Shure SM-57 and a popper stopper(but this IMHO is not "good", only acceptable). Now you CAN get good to very good for under $300 and here are 2 mics I would recommend; MXL V69 Mogami edition and the MXL V6. The V6 runs on phantom power and the V69 is a tube mic that includes a power supply(and the V69 wins out over a $1500 Nuemann I have on most female singers). Since this is really all about opinion, I expect others will have some other options for you to consider so try to audition as many as you can.
