Please advise US... What do you need the microphone for? Tracking music? Drums, piano, guitar amps, acoustic instruments, vocals? Do you need it for post-production? Recording ADR and/or VO? Help us help you so I don't just suggest and Audix i5 for the wrong reason (great on snare drum and guitar cabs, I prefer it over the sm57 in a heartbeat)
BTW... good luck not buying anything else for a long time... If I stuck to that plan, 10 years ago, I'd be living like a rockstar.
