Back on the subject of UPS, they are still a wise investment, even with perfectly clean power. And I only recommend APC after having multiple failures with CyberPower
. While you don't need a massive UPS, do aim for the middle ground(plan on spending $200 minimum) and be wise about what you connect to the UPS. DO connect computer, monitors, interface and all external drives. DON'T connect preamps, outboard gear, speakers, etc. The idea is to have a reasonable amount of time to save/close and shut down your system in the event of a power sag or outage.
