Unfortunately that is a new practice everyone is doing now. Because they stopped displaying the previous releases.
But many people don't save installers because most people don't have to deal with companies that hide their releases.

Let us remove the submission of the ticket and the rollback completely.

Are both renewals worth the same $100?
Did one user suffer a loss? time, money, anything?
If you say none of the above. Avid and its methodologies are the only company where you'd allow this to happen.
You would never allow a car dealer to give you a faulty car.
You would never allow a Tesla software update to stop your brakes from working.
You would never allow a restaurant to give you dirty food.
On and on and on...
Somehow we have accepted these faults from Avid. I find it very interesting.
