You can't record onto an AUX track, no. But you can record separate outputs to audio tracks using buses (and you can record
through aux tracks, if you want to print wet), which is a similar setup to the one giving you problems. Both involve using buses with multi-output instruments.
I was asking for my own info, since I just recently got Strike 2. I haven't used multi-output in Pro Tools 11 yet, hence my curiosity.
