Thanks, weed. I've known about them for a while. I like their stuff but their pricing is always way out of my league.
I spec'd out a couple of different builds on
https://pcpartpicker.com/ and then selected as close to the same options on Adamant and eCollege. The difference was only a couple of hundred bucks (what was around $1700 on pcpartpicker was about $1900 on either of those), plus shipping, with a 3-years parts/labor warranty.
While I probably
could build my own, I have neither the time nor the setup to do so.
I'm really stuck on the GPU. I tend to keep systems a long time; I believe in maxing out RAM. I'd rather get 64 GB of RAM and a lower priced GPU than 32 GB of RAM and a GPU that costs twice as much, which I don't think I really need.
