The big difference is, 1 set will follow the master volume knob on the 002 face, while the other set are full up all the time(can't remember which is which, but you'll figure it out easy enough)
As for connections, for my money, its balanced whenever possible
I think you want TRS to XLR-m, or TRS to TRS(can't remember what the inputs are on those spkrs).
