no tone needed. But, if i read the post right, he did not have to have 96k, he wants the cheapest route to 24 ins and outs. besides the fact that you can't get over 48k. the ai3 wont clock over the 48k either, which is in his first post. And my post is also for the people who were told you can't run 32 ins and outs on one interface all at once, because you can.
