Two thoughts:
-my system is PTHD Native, and maybe not as elaborate as others on this list.
-macOS 10.12.5 and PT 12.8.1 were a great combination, with only a couple of annoying bugs. Besides the mono-mult bug and some Atmos enhancements, I had very little reason to update.
