The point that no one is paying attention to the working music proffesessional by not making true DSP solutions is staggering. We have been left in the dust because there are more people who don't care about zero latency and not having to jump through hoops just to track a band than there are people who do. Tracking drums without the option of putting them through some kind of proccesing in order to have an inspiring sound to perform to, among other points, is really not a great way to make professional records. That is why most major facilities are still using TDM systems. I understand that it's the marketplace but that isn't helping sales and it also dosen't make it any more palatable.
