Default Drum Machine suggestions

Hey everybody,

For the past 3 or so years I've been
using the Boss DR-770 Drum Machine.

It has decent sounds and its very easy
to program using real-time looping
and quantization.

I program my own beats and also use
some of the preset beats as starting points.

But...I'm starting to want something else...
different sounds, different presets, etc.

You would think that there would be many
comparable units on the market but there
really isn't. (I used to own the Alesis SR-16
which had good sounds but I found unintuitive
for programming.)

So...What do you guys use to program drum sounds?

I need...

* Good and diverse sounds
* Ability to manipulate sounds
* Intuitive/friendly programing
* A nice variety of pattern presets
* Expendability would be nice
* A nice interface

I need buttons to push. I'm a guitar player
and not too good at thinking in terms of
Quarters and Eighth notes. I need to HIT things!

Any suggestions or thoughts...much appreciated!

Thanks!
