Dunno...This seems to work well for me and I've had this scheme for several years with no trouble. I keep a small talk back system going and this suits me really well. Perhaps your method works even better than mine. Might try it some day. My talk back works and I use Aux 3-4. It gives me two different talk back sources so I can my send out two independent mixes without having any troubles. Aux out to headphones 1-2, 3-4. Mon to Aux pressed and that's about it.
