I used software update to get to 10.5.5. Like I said I think this has something to do with plugins??? I noticed that the waves version I currently have (5.?) isnt supposed to work with 7.4.2, that I would have to upgrade to version 6 waves which will cost me an additional 150 dollars. I'm thinking about going back to 10.4.11 and 7.4 and finish a project I was working on. Oh yeah, did do a clean uninstall.
