Hmmm, open the Add/Remove programs list and see if anything appears from Avid(like maybe the HD Driver?). Maybe run Ccleaner to clear out bogus Registry links? Worst case, re-format the drive and reload everything fresh(and start using drive imaging to avoid this problem in the future)
