Default Re: "save session copy in" audio file name shortening

Thanks - that worked fine.

The problem that now emerges is that I want to save as SD2 files but I can't. Again, not a big problem - I'll just save as AIFF. However my default file type for the other sessions is SD2. Thus when I open these sessions and search for the audiofiles it finds them ONE AT A TIME (even though they're all in the same folder) AND... for EVERY audio file, it asks me if i want to use the "wrong" file type - well yes i do but i don't want to tell the machine this 500 times. (Actually in my case it's more like 25 times but it could be 500 or even 2000!) Is there any way around this?

Thanks again.
