Glad you got the fix on Xpand.
But I can't believe it on the search! You're a prolific DUC'er, but the best tip to find stuff is right there in "advanced search tips"
To find things on the DUC you use a plus + before any term you want to find. The normal boolean quotes search seems to be much less effective for me, YMMV.
Thus, +Xpand +yellow with a year range "in subject & body" would have found the culprits/posts you were seeking.
Had to chime in since you're normally "razzing" folks for not reading the fine manual etc
