[MWPOP]

Hi,

My Pro Tools 8 LE keeps "unexpectedly quitting" before it can launch. It was working ok, until I installed BFD2. So I trashed all BFD2 files, and restarting but no dice.

I have tried: uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools, deleting databases, volumes and preferences, replacing firewire cables, dragging plug-ins from the "plug-ins" folder to the "un-used plug-ins" folder, start up with and with out external hard drive attached, running PT directly to comp, restarting, rebooting, etc.

None of the suggestions I have read on other threads are working so far..
any suggestions are most welcome!

Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Processor: 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Avail space on HD: ~ 74 GB

Digi 002
Using 6ft Firewire 400 to 800 cable to connect
Using 500 GB Lacie external Hard drive for recording and play back, through USB port mainly. But I've also tried daisy chaining PT through the Lacie drive.
