Thanks.
Apogee branded.

Apogee includes their own IO software, just set up 1-6 accordingly, and setup a 5.1 in the PT IO. Actually very easy.
AFAIK, Avid Quartet IO software is the same.

The only upside to Avid Quartet is Windows compatibility. Which I don't need.
So I went with Apogee so I can record VO on my iPhone or iPad.

Using it with a 2012 Mac Mini Quad, when I bring home sessions. 32 tracks, a bunch of eqs, compressors, limiters, and RX dialog noise reduction.
While pushing DNXHD36 video.
I have PT12HD auth, as I also have an Omni HDX rig, so I can't tell you if Vanilla
PT allows a 5.1 bus, or output.

Apogee will not respond to support requests on the Avid version.
