I was vaguely shocked when switching to PC that, nope, PT was not happy about using it's equivalent of "task views" and everything has to be squashed into one window.
2. MIDI controller "pickup" ie the same as every other DAW i.e. have PT able to recognise when a MIDI control keyboard is switched on and off instead of requiring you to restart Pro Tools Every.Single.Time.

Cannot agree enough with both of these. I'd add that the Import Audio window is also
considerably less elegant to use on PC, vs Mac. Not sure why it has to be that way...
