I'm currently setting up my new MBP (15", Touch Bar, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i9, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD) with 10.13.6 and 2018.7 PT vanilla and all seems good except that it stops for 40 seconds when the Setting up MIDI message appears. The rest of the setup whizzes past, just the Setting up MIDI part. And that's with either no MIDI devices attached or my Kronos (via USB).
