That's how mine was set, only for Pro Tools (I don't like the delay in iTunes for example before it connects to the host). But my kernel_task was going crazy anyway as soon as the 003 was connected. Also for some reason, it didn't disconnect once I quit Pro Tools. I didn't remember that in my first post, so yes, the 003
kinda works in Yosemite.
