I have a 5,1 with a RX580 that uses two 6 pin to one 8 pin for power slot 1, then SSD via PCI, HDN card and BM Intensity pro and wanted to go to HDX, but after even calling AVID tech support everyone told me there's no way to power the HDX? How are you powering your HDX and RX580?

I made a splitter cable. So I have a 6 pin cable going to 8 pin (for the RX580) and the 4 pin for the HDX. The power is only for the fan on the HDX card so draw is minimal.

I’m sure you can find one online if you’re not handy with a soldering iron.
