Here is what I miss in my memory:
- ARA2
- Solo follows the selection (see Cubase-Nuendo and Studio One)
- Improved solo function in playlists
- Smart solos (as solos midi or others including departures to)
- Move group markers (see all other daws)
- Allow multiple marker tracks
- Separate track views between editing and mixing (I want to see the AUX on the mixer, but not always in editing)
- Gather all midi functions in a general table (or window), with consistency and without drop-down menu
- Offer the possibility of some additional programmable keyboard shortcuts for the user (without destroying the universal base)
- Ability to integrate Sibelius as a partition editor
- Functional management of two or more screens on Windows
- 4k management
- Modern plug-ins manager
- Acceleration of the opening (see Cubase-Nuendo, Samplitude and Studio One, both times faster)
- And probably a dream: Possibility to buy options for Vanilla (such as the object edition). Some of the ultimate options are interesting for everyone, not related to Avid hardware.
