Using VE Pro either on the same computer running Protools or another one is the solution, at least for me.Very easy to configure. Well if Protools could handle VIs properly that would be cool but...

Hello Well this issue didn't show up since about 4 months without changing anything on my system, I'm still on 2022.12...... if you updated to 2023.3 or .6 it could be again a Carbon FW issue,...

Yes I saw that some people like you are encountering this issue, I never had it myself using Carbon quite everyday since 16 months...BUT I don't use much VI directly in Ptools as I prefer using VEP...

Well, finally I had the same error again, but I could close Protools and restart both Mac and Carbon, relaunch and it worked good yesterday afternoon and today.This look like a random...

Finally I installed 2022.12 and it works again.Support ask me to install 2022.12 as well, for information here is what they said:

There's a known issue where the FW was not flagged on Pro Tools...

I changed the cable but still the same.The only thing new I did is renew my ultimate licence...I checked authorisations on iLok, refreshed the ones needed everything Ok but still the same.It's...

Yes obviously I was saying I’m using Carbon since two years with PTultimate and well with 2022.10 since 2 months. That don’t explain why I get this thing just now. I accept quit each time it happens...

FYI I had this once only on the first session I opened after installing 2022.10. After a while I forced quit Ptools, restarted mac and the menu bar was there again ....as I'm on Catalina, maybe...

Yes it's not a hassle, I would just be able to enjoy the preamps etc memorised in PT session.Doing different musical projects some at 24/48 and some at 24/96 I don't want to loose time with set-ups....

I see the exact same warning for "Protools Carbon" on my Avid account main page, it seems to me a warning about ending support plan for the Carbon interface itself, included with the Carbon purchase...
