yes, it's that simple, if you have two firewire ports...:)
but, there is also another option: daisy chaining firewire devices, and you can read about it in the manual of the digi002..

thanks guys I completely agree with you...it's all digital and it doesn't really matter if I BTD and burn it on the CD in Roxio or mix down directly to the external recorder..the project is 16...

do a search on the forum. the problem is the power harness and you will need to have it replaced by Digidesign. don't waste your time on figuring out what else it could be.
