Hi guys,

I just upgraded Sierra to 10.12.6 as recommended and Protools is responding much better.

I'll report if it falls apart again. Otherwise, consider no news from me good news for 2018.1...

HI,

The machine runs MAC OS 10.12.2
The graphics cards are AMD FirePro D300 2048 MB not 700s so I guess it's not maxed out. My mistake.
And my screen runs at 3440X1440

12.8.1 ran fine, 12.8.3...

I go into a Optical to AES converter into my Dangerous Monitor digital in.
It's really great, I can monitor native apps like Recycle or Live when it's not rewired at the same...

2X2 gig G5 + HD +96k = DAE error 7. Anyone?

G5 + 6.2.2 is fun when it's up, but it's ^%$#@ to get up.

I get 'DAE error 7' totally randomly when tracking at 96k and 192k.
Sometimes it'll still record next time I try, sometimes it's a free...

The two Firewire ports on my G4 died.
I'm facing a $400 bill to get them fixed. Grrrr.

Yep.

Same problem here..
Waves installed at root level, only show up in user. REALLY annoying. Here's the cherry, it works fine for Waves Transform plugs.

Does Logic crash on you randomly with that set-up?
Just added the Radeon card to get dual monitor support.
Logic became much less sluggish too, which is nice but I keep crashing randonmly....

Just a quick warning/heads-up:

If you're doing Video Game music and you are mixing it yourself, there's a very strong chance you'll have to deliver 5.1 mixes. I know I do.
