Re: Opening Session Setup Window Causes Instant Crash

From what I've heard Avid is not fixing this for protools 9.

FWIW, I found that running as an aggregate causes other problems. I found it better to just not open that window, but if you are doing...

Re: Why is my recorded audio out of sync in PT9?

make sure you are not sending a click(or any other instrument plugin) to an aux track for recording.

also make sure no manual delay comp offsets and no plugs on the master.

I've had clicks from clocks and failing disks but not like this.(at least since DA88 days)

What is your clock setup? Is it...

Re: 9.0.6. still a no no

Re: Help Configuring Rosetta 800 & PT 9

I assume you got you system set for protools to see the rosetta.
(audio midi setup and/or hold "N" while starting protools to select the rosetta)

The advice to use your analog outs is good, that...

All plugins are current, all regular troubleshooting/reinstalls have been done.

Has anyone heard anything from...

Re: 8HD to 9HD was nearly worthless - Why 9-10 should be cheaper

I agree completely.

I feel like it is a ripoff and outrageous to charge so much more for HD than the CPTK version, I will not be buying it anytime soon.

Honestly, what worries me more is...

Re: Protools 10HD upgrade to from 9 is 999.99 ..... WHY

I agree stability is what most professional users want, although I don't think we have it with protools 9, and I'm guessing protools 10 is not going to be any better for a while.

I was actually...

Re: Protools 10HD upgrade to from 9 is 999.99 ..... WHY

This is totally outrageous.

HD9 still has many major bugs that have not been fixed.

Is there going to be a 9.1?

Re: Pro Tools won't recognize my Apogee interface

Re: Sytems of an ageing G5

Try everything tonwurm mentioned, a few more things I'd try:

If you haven't replaced the pram battery recently, I would do that.

Reset pram, pmu, nvram.

Make sure dust has not collected...

Re: Vienna Ensemble Pro Working flawless with PT 9

That's cool!

How is the midi timing with it?

Does it help any of protool's midi issues, or does it just help get around the ram limitation?

Re: Software Monitoring On/Off

I agree that a button would be nice, but what is really needed is some sort of low latency monitoring without setting the buffer low. Obvious I know, but until Avid figures this out, the native...

It is possible to use elastic audio but you are going to lose sound quality quickly.

Re: Recording a click track causes audio files to print early?

Yes.

Everything is fine until I add a reverb aux track to the session and then all audio tracks print early.

I tested this on my HD2 and my 002R.

Is this a bug in the Delay Compensation?
