Yeah, I second turning off UAC... I find it really annoying in Vista and you'll run into issues when installing other software too...

Plug-in manufacturers definitely know how to capitalize on their software. It's the gift that keeps giving for them. Unfortunately software is not guaranteed to work with every platform update...

unless they meant to include Vista in there.:eek:?

PT LE 7.4cs10 & IE 8?

Is anybody running this successfully? I'm still getting the IE 8 crash when I try to install it... I'm running Vista 32bit and PT LE 7.4cs10.

Yeah, I'm all for trial periods... just to be absolutely sure that the software is going to work on my system. Even a 10 day trial would be good... after which point you can buy, or stop using it.

Yeah, I'm running Vista and the last time I tried installing IE8 (couple weeks ago) it messed up my system.. still running 7.4, hope they will release a CS update for that.

I agree with pencil and also cutting out your transients the old fashioned way... then patching your two regions together with a fade. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but it's always worth...
