Yep I was doing the full uninstall, and then when trying to install 6.9 it was saying it needed to find a valid version of PT to allow it to install. V odd. Tried a couple of things at the same time...

I'm having the same problem. I thought you had to have 6.7 installed to do the upgrade to 6.9, but it's telling me that I can't install 6.9 with an existing version installed. bizarre, totally stuck....

Yes, this works. Or launching iTunes first sometimes does the trick. Either way, make sure the Digi driver is set not to quit (in its prefs) when you close the last app. Shame there isn't an option...

Really digi shouldn't have announced a date at all until they were confident they could meet it. They probably have a very good idea of when the update will be ready, and if that's a long way off...
