There are two other choices for people with PCI card systems:

1a: an expansion chassis

3: a new PeeCee workstation provided you get one that is equivalent to a Mac Pro.

There really hasn't been anything new from anybody since 2003 other than just cheaper products approaching the same capability facilitated by the vastly more powerful Intel CPUs.

I use it for my own productions, one mike overdubbing, editing and mixing.

Backing tracks are done live in the studio exactly like we would have done in the early '70s except I can break each...

I can remember when I lived at the top of Peter Gotcher's [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep] list for griping in public about digi's propensity for releasing vaporware....

Have you actually seen these problems on a PPC HD system or might it be that they are Intel platform issues and not PPC issues?

I've seen no signs that they did not intend or don't intend to fix the major bugs.

There have already been five updates for PPC users over the past year.

Has everybody contacted customer service with their specific PPC 8.01cs1 problems that need fixing?

I'm sure that will be what determines how many 8.0.1 cs versions will be released.
