Sorted!

So I switched to using DHCP with a manual address which removed the DNS server numbers and everything is booting up in a timely manner!

I have tried trashing the prefs but no luck yet. I've found it to be a network related error. I'm connected to a local network of machines and when I disconnect all the sessions boot normally....

I've just purchased a new macpro and upgraded to Pro Tools 9.05 on Lion.
It worked fine to start with but now sessions are taking an age to boot up. I seem to be waiting endlessly for PT to locate...
