Yes, your probably right about not replacing others (PT, Logic, etc...). Hopefully Avid will point PT in the right direction.

Well your view on Avid may be valid in some cases, but my view on the HD PCIx to PCIe is a bit different. I feel that Digidesign should not have released HD on PCIx in the beginning as PCIe's came...

Sure things keep moving forward and like most who wouldn't want the latest new super computer and the newest super PT HD rig, but the matter here is PPC users have never been offered (in my oppinion)...

Avid should look at the users that would love to keep using their products, the ones that have been with them for so many years, and make them a fare upgrade option. This is crazy how they...
