In ProTools, try going to Setup->Playback Engine and choose your output device from the drop down list at the top.

I had the same question. The PT 10.1.2 README seemed to specify that PT 10 would run on 10.7.3 but the PT 10 System Requirements page on the Avid web site still says 10.7.1 and 10.7.2 and omits...

Are you seeing the Mbox Pro window with Presets/Load/Save As/Layout etc at the top?

If so, make sure the Layout is Horizontal.

If not, sorry I don't know what the problem is...

The expresscard route to get a couple of FW800 ports isn't too expensive. However, I wonder if there is an Avid/Digi issue with having the audio drives hooked up that way?
