If you have SD2 inserted in a stereo inst. track you should be able to click on any of the drums or cymbals and hear them. There is no need to do anything else to the track. If you can't hear...

There is inherent monitoring latency in PT LE. Go to Options and check Low Latency Monitoring. Should solve your problem.

do all the optimizations as Shan suggested. one of the first is to go into setup/playback engine and check the number of processors your using. if it's 4 change it to 2. i run PT 8.0.3 in a dual core...

Tom, it's the one that came with PT-8.0.3. In the plug-in properties it says 8.0.0.314.

I'm convinced this plug that comes with the PT8 package just isn't compatible. Yes I'm using the dither work around and yes I'm only using 1 processor in a dual core system and still I get 9128...

I ran the latency checker and no problems came up. I did a search on my firewire card but couldn't determine if it has the TI chipset or not. I also ran MemTest on my processors...

I've been working with a 4 piece rock band for several weeks on a project. Most sessions are less than 16 tracks. I do have plug-ins on most tracks but I don't think it's excessive. After no problems...

Thanks for the quick reply. This is really dumb of me but where do I go to view midi ports? Also, I noticed in my drivers folder that the only MME item listed is a binder file. There's no .exe file....
