i tried to record some stuff from my boss BR-8 onto my friends protools LE/digi 002 via stereo-to-1/4" cables.. i get a ton of white noise.. any better way to do it to avoid so much white noise?

hey man.. do you know anything about a large amount of white noise coming from the 8 track thru the stereo cables?

thanks man. that's how a friend of mine did it before and it seemed to work out alright although there was a bit of white noise that we were dealing with.. have you ever encountered that problem?...

i'm trying to record into the digi 002 with my 8 track via rca's. i can't get any of a combination of interface/inputs to read. any help would be rewarded... $1,000,000?

so i'm new to external hard drives (this is my first full computer thanks to P tools) and i'm trying to record my sessions directly into my external as i go. I can't set a valid record volume on it...
