Retrospective Record broken in 2018.4

Hi,

seems like PT doesn't clear it's buffer from previous recordings.
After hitting alt/shift/z there are all kind of duplicated notes in the midi region.

Anyone else ?

No - no PlugIns.

Just two or more Inputs which should be recorded onto one AudioTrack - thats all !

No - it's also if only instrument tracks are involved - no audio at all.
And it is the same with PT v2018.1.0.

12.8.3 runs pretty well here on HighSierra.
I'm getting an occasional AAE -9171 error.
This appears pretty soon after loading a session and letting it play for a couple of seconds.

thx again for your help. All worked fine at Airmusic using my fake email address and I could download all installers.

The only thing I got stuck later was with NI's Kontakt and Native...

In the meantime I installed HighSierra on a new & fresh SSD, PT HDX 12.8.3 and ALL PlugIns & other SW from scratch.

Now everything is superfast & smooth !

I can even use 256 samples H/W buffer...

I tried on 3 different macs now - no luck.
Maybe we have a netsplit ???

I will try later the day at a friend's place and also with PC.
