more like a work around, which leaves me to turn on and off a piece of gear that is not really in reach everytime i close and open a session.

When the session is open i can run with it clocked to the S/PDIF port just fine. and the hardware preferences are set correctly. its only while starting protools that there is a problem.

so i just added a Universal 2192 to my LE rig. Now whenever i open a session that is clocked to S/PDIF, and pro tools hangs. in order to get pro tools to boot i need to either unplug the S/Pdif...
