Person having degree provided they have all the above. I'd say 2 and 4 are the most important. Job hoppers are the most likely to get a position in a studio because they're already working in the...

Never said a career should fall into your lap. I would rather have my degrees than not have them and yes I agree I wouldn't know how to do a post session properly in Pro Tools without training. But...

BSc sound engineering and a Masters degree in post production in television and film here, total cost about £26000, £4500 of which I had to pay out of my own pocket up front. That was 5 years ago...
